LOOKING FOR TWO EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARERS TO FILL FULL/PART TIME POSITIONS & TAX PREPARER TRAINEES

PART 1 (JOB DESCRIPTION FOR EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARERS):

• Prepare tax returns in a professional manner

• Oversee tax returns prepared by co-workers for quality control purposes

• Answer tax-related questions from tax clients and novice co-workers

• Perform all other office operational duties, as requested by management (to be discussed at job interview)

PART 1A (REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARERS):

1. You must have a minimum of intermediate tax knowledge IN YOUR HEAD to answer tax-related questions correctly

2. At least 1 FULL tax season working as a TAX PREPARER (from January to April)

PART 1B (COMPENSATION FOR EXPERIENCED TAX PREPARERS):

If you meet BOTH of the requirements for the Experienced Tax Preparer mentioned above (see PART 1A), we can offer you a great compensation package. That practically no other company in the retail tax preparation industry can beat! You will not be disappointed.

PART 2 (FREE BASIC INCOME TAX PREPARATION CLASS):

For those interested in learning tax preparation. We are offering a FREE Basic Income Tax Preparation class, at the office headquarters of our established tax preparation company in Brownsville, Brooklyn. No charge for books, or class fees.

Students that pass our FREE Basic Income Tax Preparation course, with a score of 80% on the exam, will become ‘candidates’ for a job position as a Tax Preparer Trainee and will be offered a job interview.

Hiring of job ‘candidate’ is NOT GUARANTEED.

PART 2A (JOB DESCRIPTION FOR TAX PREPARER TRAINEES):

• Make outbound phone calls to business office locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. This is to help set up entry points, where tax clients

come in to transmit their personal documentation, to the Brownsville, Brooklyn headquarters, for tax preparation and processing

• Take inbound and make outbound phone calls to give away FREE Gift Certificates to potential clients in need of tax preparation services in

Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens

• Prepare income tax returns in a professional manner (we will train)

• Perform all other office operational duties, as requested by management

PART 2B (REQUIREMENTS FOR TAX PREPARER TRAINEES):

• No tax preparation experience necessary

• Must become a ‘candidate’ by passing the FREE Basic Income Tax Preparation Course given in our office (see Part 2 above)

• Able to follow directions to the letter

• Must speak English GRAMMATICALLY and with DICTION

• CONVERSATIONAL Spanish-speaking is a MAJOR PLUS

• Must have an out-going, friendly, personality

• Must be reasonably proficient on the computer

• This job requires frequent phone work in talking to potential clients. Some sales background is a plus, but not required

PART 2C (COMPENSATION FOR TAX PREPARER TRAINEES):

Job Interviews for candidates possibly leading to a position as a Tax Preparer Trainee. Will be offer only to students that passed the Basic Income Tax Preparation class exam with a score of 80% (see ‘PART 2). If the candidate is hired after the job interview, the candidate will start as a Tax Preparer Trainee. This will be a short term job, from January to April, 2010. There will be full & part-time positions available. Salary is $8 per hour, with an opportunity to clock up to $25, or more per hour, when you include your tax preparation commissions & other commissions plus bonuses earned. How much more $$$ you earn is due to your own efforts!
